ICT

For the last few years, the sixth form has had a tradition of two students volunteering to help teach basic ICT skills to members of the local community. In conjunction with Reverend Alan Hundleby, two IB students have been working at the local community centre in Waltham since September teaching word processing and other valuable skills to elderly members of the community.

They have both found this an extremely rewarding experience and have thoroughly enjoyed the time they have spent with their 'students.' Hannah Hulme has found this aspect of her CAS programme very rewarding as she has felt like she is doing a valuable service, as well as relishing the chance to meet new people and enhance her own skills. They have now finished for the year, and Revd.

Hundelby has been full of praise for their hard work, pleasant manner, and dedication to the course, stating that the clients have been very grateful for the effort the team have made. We are now on the look out for two more volunteers for next year.
