European Work Experience / Study Courses

IB students and their parents are invited to attend a presentation by Mr Niall Abbott of Halsbury Travel Ltd who will be coming to Tollbar BEC to talk to students about the opportunity to spend a week in France, Germany, Italy or Spain in order to improve their language skills. There are opportunities for students to take a language course or to take up a work experience placement. Tollbar has sent students on work experience visits in the past and they have proved to be extremely beneficial. Further to this, there are dates available throughout the year so students can pick a placement / course during a college holiday which suits them. A residential course or work experience placement such as the ones offered by Halsbury Travel make an interesting and unusual addition to a UCAS form.

The presentation will be held on Wednesday 30th September 2009 from 6:00-7:00pm in the Drama Hall in the main school. There will be opportunities for students and parents to find out further details such as travel, accommodation and costs.
