Tollbar continues to build on the success of its 6th form by welcoming
International students to study for the IB Diploma.
The International Baccalaureate is a two year course with an end on
examination and will provide students with a gold standard qualification which is accepted by Universities across the world.

Duration of course
The International Baccalaureate Diploma is a two year course and will operate as follows:Year 1: End of August - Mid July
Year 2: End of August - End of May
Accommodation
Accommodation can be arranged in two ways:
- Family stay accommodation
- Boarding accommodation
1. Family stay accommodation
Barnes Educational Services will arrange accommodation with host families living close to Tollbar sixth form. All accommodation and tuition fees are payable to Barnes Educational Services.
2. Boarding Accommodation
Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education is a partner of Tollbar 6th form and they have
purpose built Halls of Residence close to the Institute campus. Regular transport is provided between the Institute campus and Tollbar 6th form. Students using this form of accommodation will pay boarding fees directly to Grimsby Institute and Tuition fees to Tollbar 6th form.

Scholarships
Each year the College will offer 2 partial scholarships towards the cost of tuition fees. Students must indicate when they apply if the would like to be considered for a scholarship.
