Wrong Trousers Day

On Friday 26th June, IB students took part in the Wrong Trousers Day, organised by the Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation. Money raised is used to support a wide range of projects in children's hospitals and hospices from music therapy, child-friendly environments, family accommodation to state of the art equipment. This is the second year running that sixth form students have taken part in the event, though this year, the response was much better, with more students braving the weather - and the ridicule!

The event at Tollbar was organised by IB students, Chloe Wraith, Rory Bourke and Ben Cardy, who as well as encouraging their friends and colleagues to wear a stupid and bright pair of trousers, also organised a number of competitions throughout the day.

In total, the event raised nearly £80 which was a great result for the organisers and the charity.
